In the morning the coffee machine in building Z gave me the cappuccino ok, but it didn't give a cup. So the coffee ran directly from the hose to the sewer without going through me first. Figures. Tanárnő was ill and we all had to go to the other group. They were one chapter behind us and the whole lecture(r) was quite useless. In the evening I ate with Nakki and Rebecca in Pest. The devoted carnivore Janne didn't come with us as he heard we're going to a vegetarian restaurant. We had to go to a Chinese since the Hare Krishna place was closed. After that we spent some time in the Puskin cafe, nice place. At night I had thought of writing these pages, but the queue for the computers was too long.
I went to school. Slept. Filled a crossword. Read. Went to the shop. Queued for the computers in vain. Read.
I bought some decent clothes for the Independence day celebration. Divinyis invited me with them to the reception in the Finnish Embassy. Accidentally I bought one inch too narrow trousers. Have to fast Sunday and Monday.
I updated the student card. I searched for some books for my essay in the school library. Doesn't look too promising, but I found something. I was tired early.
I was a bit late in the morning as I didn't bother to get up. I bought the month ticket. They serve Finnish food in hotel Gellért. Yesterday there was some introduction to Finnish tango. The others were there and organized a small ex tempore "Ukko Nooa" performance.
We intended to eat in Gellért, but the headwaiter claimed that the Finnish cooks will arrive only later => we ate in a salátabár. The others had watched Funny Games on the "Technology as a social problem" course. Can't see the connection.
I saw Eyes Wide Shut. Didn't like it too much. The piano player didn't disturb.
Some guy taught us control theory since our own teacher is somewhere abroad. He was even better teacher than she. I paid the rent. For a couple of minutes the old lady mistook me for a Hungarian. But then it took me two seconds too long to understand "Van hűtőszekrény?", and she grasped "Óh, maga külföldi! Blah-blab-blah-blahblah-blah-blah-blahblah-blah-blah-blah-blah-...".
In the afternoon I tried to study, but fell asleep. Later I played seven of clubs with Anssi and J-P. The power twins have been boozing since Tuesday.
In the evening nearly 20 people left for some Gábor's party. The party was ok, but I wasn't too interested. On the way home I checked the Martos disco and didn't like it. I saw Santa Claus.
Injuries of the day: Anssi T dropped/jumped from the top of a human pyramid in some disco, and got a cast in his hand. Jarkko wounded his finger while transforming a beer can into a mug. Later he strained his thigh when trying a spiral. And the eye was black already.
No one's around. I found Jarkko before five, and we left for Piia's place, where J-P and Anssi were making food (according to Jarkko). Nobody was home, but Piia came soon. She had been in Ikea with Nakki all day getting pissed off. Later Anssi, J-P, Nakki and Mateika arrived and we got food. We watched Friends on the video.
Anssi T took me with his rented car to Piia's place. Mikko was there already. We put together three bookshelves and got a lunch in return. In the afternoon I plugged Hungarian and operating systems.
